| CLASS INSTRUCTIONS: For Lap Quilt Please precut your fabric. For a quick easy way to cut use your June Taylor Strip Cutting Ruler. A=Focus Fabric Cut 12 12 1/2" x 12 1/2' squares set aside D=accent fabric cut 14 strips 2 1/2" wide x 40" use 2 strips and cut (12) 2 1/2" x 6 1/2" strips set aside cut 4 strips into (8) 2 1/2" x 20" strips set aside set aside 8 remaining 2 1/2" x 40" strips L=background cut 4 strips 2 1/2" x 40" subcut those into 8 strips 2 1/2" x 20" set aside cut 8 strips 4 1/2" x 40" set aside Feel free to come in to my store, Quilting by Vonnie and we will help you cut if you need help. Normal sewing supplies-to include your iron, rulers, etc. Fabric for Lap Quilt-no borders: TIP: buy more fabric than you need in case of miscutting-you can use extras for a pillowcase or backing A=focus fabric -not fussy cut 1 1/2 yards If you are fussy cutting- you need TWELVE 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" blocks D=accent fabric 1 1/4 yards L=background 1 1/2 yards |
